3 cuts from the Black Devil ‘In Dub’ album. Firstly Prins Thomas stretches the original into a super sexy analogue throb as elastic synths slide over rolling congas and crisp disco beats. Unit 4 aka Jupiter Black/Michael Black create a dense dark beast of a groove that recalls Suicide more than Chic, as motorik drums and pulsing bass mesh to hypnotic effect, but nothing quite prepares you for the all out aural assault of Black Mustang’s take on ‘Constantly No Respect’, an evil cauldron of warped guitars, deep dark beats and reverb…lots of reverb.
‘If you love Disco then get it. If you don’t love Disco, you’ve still got to get it. Get it?—10/10 Future Music

Fantastic, sprightly “industrial disco” that takes the brooding menace of early WaxTrax and sets it to skipping beats. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 4, 2020
